This is going to be enjoyable, entertaining, enlightening and expanding for all involved, right? This is the first time I've ever attempted blogging, so I am a tiny bit intimidated, but also hugely excited, because I hear tell that some people who start out doing this for fun gain so many readers and become sooooo popular that they go PRO! I am thinking of one of my new favorite blogs in particular, http://www.hyperboleandahalf.com, whose author has impressive writing skills and style plus hysterical pictures.
For this first post I'd simply like to share with my readers and customers the significance behind my logo, lovingly created by Lisa Zaccharia of http://www.lisartstudio.com.
The symmetrical, swirly blue-indigo symbol is an adaptation of one of my jewelry designs, the Communion necklace http://www.etsy.com/listing/69568549/communion-necklace. The single asymmetrical shape itself was originally a doodle on paper quite a few years ago, and to me it became a symbol of the twinflames, an ancient spiritual concept involving soul evolution, balancing of male/female polarities within the individual, and transcending separation consciousness to embrace unity consciousness. I have created various jewelry pieces using this single shape, then last year after a mind-bending mystical experience (true!) I was inspired to join the two shapes in a single design, signifying unity consciousness and perfect balance. Oh, and there's a heart in the center. The heart chakra is the balance point unifying the 3 upper chakras- throat, third eye and crown- and the 3 lower chakras- base, sacral and solar plexus.
In the logo design this shape also forms an "S" and an "M"- my initials! I believe the other elements speak for themselves, so I'll let them be. It couldn't be more perfect. :)
Whew!! Okay that wasn't so hard. I'll do it again soon. Feel free to question me or comment!
