Rune pendants
The Elder Futhark runes- available rendered in metal for you. These pendants are created out of copper and sterling silver and measure 1" across. Textured and antiqued so they look like they've been freshly excavated from a Viking Age tomb- minus the dirt of course. Sold without chain, but if you'd like an 18" sterling chain with handmade clasp they're available for an additional $25. Runes were the characters used in the first writing systems of the Germanic peoples. They were usually carved into stone, bone, wood or metal which explains their sharp, angular shapes. However, they served as much more than merely a writing alphabet. Find out more on the blog.
